It's a great way to de-stress and have some time to yourself. I've put these packs together as I love sourcing vintage and have so much fabric here - it needs to go to folk who will use and treasure it.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCut up the woolen blanket to attach your fabrics and trimmings to. These fabrics are a collection of vintage recycled and more. Second piece of heart shaped wool blanket means you can close up your heart. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOnce the front of your heart is completed you can attach to the back heart panel. You can either sew it inside out - leave a gap to pull it right way up, stuff with filling then blanket stitch the heart closed the whole way around. Alternatively you can stitch it straight onto the back panel and fill it before you finish right around.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere is a variety of fabrics including:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003edoilies and remnant lace\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003evariety of fabrics to get a bit of colour\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003esome Mount Vic and Me fabrics to create contrast \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eSuffolk puff\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003esmall piece of quilt fabric (you could cut another heart and stitch this one differently to create contrast)\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e2 heart shaped blanket piece\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTo start your project you'll need:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eCotton (white\/cream\/off white works best) to baste anything down\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eColourful embroidery thread\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eNeedle (embroidery needle if choosing thicker thread)\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003ePins to hold your fabrics in place while you stitch or a glue stick also works\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eBeads, buttons etc if you want to add more detail\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eScissors\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eStuffing (an old polyester pillow or batting is great)\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI'm encouraging you to look in your cupboard, ask friends for their old fabrics and doilies and look around at clothing with holes.
