The NT is everything. Rugged landscapes, incredible sunsets and stars, thunder and lightning. There is a mixture of traditional names mixed with european given names on the map. I want to do the Northern Territory justice for it’s incredible beauty.
I lived in Darwin and Alice Springs for a few years. Absolutely loved my time in the Territory. Let’s hit the road!
Since the bushfires hit us here in Mount Victoria in late 2019, I have been developing map tea towels for different regions to reinvigorate tourism. Then Coronavirus hit and we were busy shooing the tourists away. It’s all a little frustrating but it’s inspired me to create maps for different much-loved regions to celebrate our home towns, remember places we cherish and remind ourselves how beautiful Australia truly is.
