Killen : Inside Australian Politics
Publisher: Methuen Hayne, 1985
Condition: Good vintage condition. Dust jacket has some minor wear.
When Sir James Killen left the Australian Parliament in 1983 he had served in it for 28 years and with eight prime ministers - from Menzies to Hawke. KILLEN is the story of those years, told with the razor-sharp wit and keen sense of humour which were his hallmarks both in and outside parliament. It tells of the personalities and the conflicts, events and issues which have been at the heart of Australian politics.
Sir James Killen (1925-2007) was a Liberal member of the Australian parliament from 1955 to 1983. He was Minister for the Navy in the Gorton goverment and Defence Minister in the Fraser government.
