The quality of these panels is unsurpassed! I see new details each time I look. Gorgeous, deep colours and lots of fun, quirky images to play with. Trying to decide whether I can bring myself to chop off the big cat section to make a passport cover. I can always buy another!

I love all the maximalist panels but have, so far, limited myself to three. This one lends itself to appliqué on a jacket, a panel on a skirt or shirt, or framed on the wall. I have to overthink for a bit before I start on this.

What fun it was to meet fellow stitchers tonight! No more FOMO hearing about Stitch Queens at the shop. This is as close to being there as possible, while in the comfort of home. Although, one of our number was at an upmarket pub having wine and cheese as she stitched - something for the rest of us to consider for next time! It was lovely working on our projects, chatting and laughing, showing our work in progress and discussing all manner of things. Highly recommend to other stitchers to join an online gathering from wherever uou are in the world. I’ll certainly be back again!

Not quite what I was expecting as I’d never purchased samples before. Kara has ordered a fat quarter for me instead which will meet my needs perfectly.

I was thrilled when I tried on this shirt to discover that it is much more flattering on (for women) than the unisex cut. Differences which seemed miniscule when comparing the two side by side on mannequins are significant when actually worn. As the name suggests, the cut of the semi fit is closer to the body, the sleeves are shorter and skim the arms, the length is shorter, and the neckline is slightly larger and not so close to the neck. No more unisex tees for me now I’ve discovered the semi fit difference! This particular tee is a beautiful vibrant green while the test pattern on the front takes me back to the days when television stations closed down for the night. Ah, the nostalgia! The shirts pictured are both size 2XL, with the semi fit on top of the unisex fit for comparison.
