It's not about perfection but the enjoyment and rhythm of stitching. It's a great way to de-stress and have some time to yourself. I've put these packs together as I love sourcing vintage and have so much fabric here - it needs to go to folk who will use and treasure it.
This is a bigger pack so you can make larger pieces or a variety of smaller one. You could make a pouch set, bag, book cover, cushion cover or add fabric pages to make a journal. Use a variety of embroidery stitches including kantha, whip, blanket, seed, etc over bits of fabric to build up your panel.
In each pack you'll find a cotton quilted base to attach your fabrics and trimmings to. These fabrics are a collection of vintage recycled and more.
There is a variety of fabrics including:
- vintage and recycled fabrics (including a big piece of 2 vintage tablecloths)
- floral quilt remnant (approx 53 x 86cm)
- embroidery thread to get you started
- embroidered doilies and lace
- embroidered patch
- suffolk puff
- I've thrown in a free gift of little earrings too
To start your project you'll need:
- Cotton (white/cream/off white works best)
- Colourful embroidery thread
- Needle (embroidery needle if choosing thicker thread)
- Pins to hold your fabrics in place while you stitch
- Beads, buttons etc if you want to add more detail
- Scissors
I'm encouraging you to look in your cupboard, ask friends for their old fabrics and doilies and look around at clothing with holes. Can you upcycle and recycle into something new? Can you make beautiful gifts for loved ones out of old stuff?

USA and NZ flat-rate postage is $25. This price is based on items being shipped from Australia to your door. Should you pick drop-shipped goodies that can be shipped out of the US, please contact me to check postage costs and possibly refund some to you. We are working on a way to better how to manage variables via drop-shipping and shipped from our studio shop! x

Each product will list where it’s shipped from: via our studio shop OR our manufacturers. Because of the nature of drop-shipped items, please allow 10-28 working days delivery to your door (item will specify time). Please consider this when making your purchase.
