Make some beautiful Christmas matchboxes with a vintage Victorian kitty theme. I've so enjoyed creating these little matchboxes using a variety of my found ephemera, fabrics and more.
These make fantastic little gift boxes or use to squirrel away your treasures. I've added little picture frames, dolls, toys, postcards, lists, letters, photos and more. Each is designed to fit into the matchboxes.
Download and have some fun. You can mix and match your printouts. With the 4 matchboxes being the same size, they are designed to be shuffled around. Have some fun!
This is a digital download kit (paper kit version will be available soon as well as more designs!)
WHAT YOU NEED (besides your print outs):
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- Ruler
- Something to score folds: Create a ëdentí so that folding is easier and cleaner. You could score the back of your fold marks instead to ensure no cracking at folds. Use the back of a ruler, scalpel
or other sharpish blunt items. - Optional: little pegs or paper clips are handy to hold glued & folded pieces together as they dry.
- Add your own treasures like gold pen, stick sequins and beads on and other fun stuff. It's never 'too much' around here.
This digital kit has templates for 4 different regular sized matchboxes (41.5 x 51.5cm) and 1 large matchbox(63 x 78mm). Each page is 210 x 297mm A4. High res JPEG file supplied for download as ZIP files. You can click the download to unzip it. Use your favourite card stock or photo paper. If you don't have heavier card stock, you could try regular paper or photo paper and stick to a very light cardboard base.
We are unable to help on downloading, opening ZIP files and printer questions. You can Google help and see your printer manufacturer's website for instructions if you are unsure. If unsure on printer page size, try 'print to fit'.
2 x digital download files as JPEG AND PDF using ZIP files. If you login as a user, your file will remain with your orders for easy reference should you lose your link to the files.

Drop shipped goodies
Being a small business in Australia, we use drop-shipping for some items including our popular t shirts. Housing every design in every size and colour is impossible. We rely on manufacturing partners to ship these goodies straight to you. If you want goodies via our studio shop, we house tea towels, Blue Mountains socks, greeting cards and our vintage goodies which we ship directly via the studio shop.
Flat-rate postage
Enjoy an awesome flat-rate postage $9.90 Australia-wide whatever you choose at Mount Vic and Me.
USA and NZ flat-rate postage is $25. This price is based on items being shipped from Australia to your door. Should you pick drop-shipped goodies that can be shipped out of the US, please contact me to check postage costs and possibly refund some to you. We are working on a way to better how to manage variables via drop-shipping and shipped from our studio shop! x
Your parcel might be split into multiple parcels if you have items ]coming via our manufacturers.
Returns on made to order
To offer the widest range of designs and sizes, our t shirts and other drop-shipped goodies are made to order (meaning smaller impact in a fast fashion world). We therefore cannot exchange for change of mind or size on t shirts. Please read the size guide xcarefully on our t shirts
