Today it was 33 degrees at 7am… so it’s only going to get worse. Ugh, bring on winter I say.

I’m sitting here writing out bits and pieces, ideas in my head really of what I will do for a new radio show segment I am presenting in 2018 called ‘MAKER’. This is part of Julie Anker’s ARThouse programme on BM community radio 89.1fm. I will be interviewing different Blue Mountains makers each month about their business. It will be a lot of fun and I’m really looking forward to talking to each maker.

The shop at Mt Vic is going from strength to strength. A big THANK YOU to all that have come along and supported me in this new venture. Jenny (who shares the space with Jennifer Marie’s Psychic Emporium next door) and I have been thrilled that so many have come to shop with us. I still haven’t got my work/life balance quite right and wow, isn’t retail hard? I come home and take a nap! But I’m sorting it all out.

The planters above are NEW in tomorrow – $45 each and just lovely. As well as these, I have fabulous clocks that are also proving to be very popular. New honey from Anarel Farm at Sodwalls is also going into the shop tomorrow. They have also given me some pure gold – Saffron stems – so for any foodies, don’t miss out!

I wish everyone a great Christmas. I know I’m ready for a break and this year we just plan to rest at home, all of us stay in pjs and vege out.

Open tomorrow til 23rd Dec, then 28-31st Dec then again from the 3rd January.

Merry Christmas

We had a very successful Christmas Shopping night along with Victorious Interiors at 115 Great Western Hwy, Mt Vic. We’ll have to do more of those soon – wine and cheese were involved!

New cute signs for the home – so true too…

Anarel Farm has delivered sweet raw honey from Sodwalls near Oberon. Be quick to nab a jar!

No flying ducks here! We have toucans, galahs, cockatoos and flying pigs.

Always something new at Mount Vic and Me.
