I created this for a 1950’s Spoonflower design challenge. My memories of great kitsch films, gargantuan women and a terrific colour palette led me to this…

…I love those old posters, the horror films of the 50’s, the fantastic literature that came out – firm classics like ‘Peyton Place’, ‘Lolita’, ‘East Of Eden’, ‘Fahrenheit 451’, ‘Doctor Zhivago’ – glamour, style and more.

I’ve montaged some of my favourite items from the era, used my collection of wallpapers and backgrounds and more to create something fun. I’d love to see this as a gorgeous pin-up dress.

This fabulously sexy Librarian is guaranteed to scare anyone into returning their books on time!

Fabric Care Instructions:
Machine wash cool on a gentle/delicate setting, using phosphate-free detergent. Machine dry on a low temperature setting. Iron on the reverse side of the fabric. Dry clean if preferred.
