Our exciting new sewing kits have arrived... Start with your very own pin cushion. More pin cushion designs to follow!
Step-by-step easy-to-follow instructions to guide you including illustrations.
Layer up your handmade pin cushion with your found treasures: lace, doilies, embroidery, old earrings, buttons, trims and more. Add flowers, embroidered text, some vintage ribbons and beading. I encourage you to seek out vintage things to add.
Perfect for all levels of witchery stitchery. Go forth and create!
You'll need: Cotton thread, sewing needle, pins, scissors, iron, stuffing, funnel to get stuffing into pin cushion.
Stuff it: You can use polyester cushion filling, old plushie toys or cushion inserts, rice or walnut husk for stuffing. Mix up polyfil cushion with rice too - the heavier the better.
Need some vintage finds? We have lots available in our online store including doilies, fabrics and more. If you can't find what you are looking for, just ask. We might have it! Photos of our pin cushions show some embellishment over the base layer of fabric.
Final size pin cushion: 125 x 76cm

Includes instruction booklet with illustrations.
Environmentally-friendly printing on a waterless press.

Drop shipped goodies
Being a small business in Australia, we use drop-shipping for some items including our popular t shirts. Housing every design in every size and colour is impossible. We rely on manufacturing partners to ship these goodies straight to you. If you want goodies via our studio shop, we house tea towels, Blue Mountains socks, greeting cards and our vintage goodies which we ship directly via the studio shop.
Flat-rate postage
Enjoy an awesome flat-rate postage $9.90 Australia-wide whatever you choose at Mount Vic and Me.
USA and NZ flat-rate postage is $25. This price is based on items being shipped from Australia to your door. Should you pick drop-shipped goodies that can be shipped out of the US, please contact me to check postage costs and possibly refund some to you. We are working on a way to better how to manage variables via drop-shipping and shipped from our studio shop! x
Your parcel might be split into multiple parcels if you have items ]coming via our manufacturers.
Returns on made to order
To offer the widest range of designs and sizes, our t shirts and other drop-shipped goodies are made to order (meaning smaller impact in a fast fashion world). We therefore cannot exchange for change of mind or size on t shirts. Please read the size guide xcarefully on our t shirts
to make an informed choice.
