I’ve wanted to draw Greens Senator Sarah Hanson-Young for a while so tonight I’ve sat down by the fire and begun. She was the youngest person popularity elected into the Senate at the age of 25. Today I heard much debate on the radio about female quotas, encouraging more women to enter politics and even debate about age minimums for people to enter politics (that last one is baffling with older white men running the show).
I would love to sit down with Senator Hanson-Young and learn her thoughts. With a strong voice and much passion she is one to watch.
