I have one Staffordshire ceramic dog from my grandparents. The other one lost when a cat jumped on to the mantelpiece. I always loved that sad looking dog with rounded eyebrows so decided to draw him. This rug is so much fun with my favorurite plants, Nasturtiums and Tulips around in pretty vases.
