'so well-written!!
i love the history in this book, i love how the images are in keeping with the victorian & edwardian times discussed in the book, & i love how the wording, grammar & writing style is also historically accurate to those times. hats are off to the author, she did an excellent job with the history, the tastefulness of her presentation and charm of her writing, not to mention the comfort of the topic.
the recipes are wonderful-sounding (i did not try any but i likely will when i buy a copy of this book for myself & have a ladies' tea), & are also in keeping with previous days' typical tea bites.
truly a charming little book; i read it in about 2-3 hours, and promptly purchased it for my tea-loving, victorian-mansionette-dwelling best friend for his christmas gift. i should just buy a copy for myself right now so i can have it & read it whenever i feel like it.' - review
