Inside has a zip pocket and four elasticated pockets. The top of the bag around the zip is firm/self supportive so it doesn’t slouch. Front zippered pocket has more areas to store/separate goodies.
This bag is terrific! It holds my 16" Macbook Pro in it's soft computer sleeve. The open design has one main pocket with a zipper, three elastic pockets, and one net pocket for quick storage.

I love my ibis backpack. Plenty of room for laptop, water bottle and a jumper. It’s also very lite.
The design on the backpack is pretty and I love the colours. It's a good size and holds a lot. However, there are some annoying design aspects. The smaller compartment at the bottom in the front just has one zip and you need to take it all the way round to get in the compartment. I assume this is a cost-cutting measure to make the bag cheaper but it is not a good thing because that compartment opens up a lot and things can fall out. It should have 2 zips that meet in the middle so you don't have to open up the entire compartment. The backpack also has some sort of stiff structural frame-like thing in the main part that forces you to open the top completely- so I have to stop and put it down to open it because the stiff frame prevents you from opening it like halfway just to slip something in. While the stiff things give it stability, they are very annoying because I cannot just reach around, open the pack a bit and put something in- I have to stop, take it off my back, put it down on a surface and open it up completely. This is not convenient when you are in a hurry and just want to reach around and pop something into it. So whilst the design is vibrant, and it's a good size and seems well-made at this early stage, it is not a convenient backpack to use for the above reasons.
