You wouldn’t know it but my website has been absolutely driving me bonkers as it wouldn’t update the template theme. Which meant no posts, I couldn’t update my beautiful new stockists online and that I couldn’t share news! It’s enough to drive a girl to despair! Tonight I finally worked it out… but only after my laptop truly bit the dust so I can’t do any work online and realising I’m starting to go backwards. (Laptop saga continues and waiting to hear if insurer will pay out…).
BUT… lots of fun things have been happening. I worked through a ‘block’ in the shop. I felt that I couldn’t be creative as well as sit in a retail space. Ta da! I’ve now moved my desk into the back area of the shop where I can close it off and work on creative projects then reveal when I’m ready. Really chuffed about that. Not sure how it will go in the depths of winter so will wait for the cooler season to approach and see if I can handle it.
Just look at spunky weatherman Karl Lijnders (News Anchor and Chief Meteorologist for PRIME7 Network Australia) in his Blue Mountains Socks. Karl is a pretty snappy dresser and favours some pretty bright ties so I thought some colourful socks would look great with his tv outfits!
